  What's New

Thank you all for making this a very successful park cleanup. We had about 40 people who worked hard and accomplished an amazing amount of work. The park is looking better every year. The difference is striking. We particularly want to thank the Rovers and their continued support. We had another fun day working with them. Nate Johnson of Parks and Recreation and the Forestry crew were great.  We met the challenge of picking up and stacking nearly all of the material that they cut down. We had a safe day and had a good time. Your continued efforts are greatly appreciated.

City of St. Paul, 2010 Sping Parks Cleanup, Henry Park - COMPLETED

This years cleanup efforts will concentrate on the removal of buckthorn. We will start at 9:00am at Henry Park. Enter at the east driveway off of 2120 Skyway. Jim Peterson and the MN Rovers have graciously offered to help again this year.

It is best to wear comfortable clothes you are not worried about. Bring gloves and safety glasses if you have them. We will try to have some gloves and glasses for those that need them. We have a good record of safety and want to keep it that way. The work is not glamorous but it sure is making a positive difference for the park. We have a good group of experienced individuals who have done this more than once. We will be counting on those of you with experience to help assist the new volunteers so they can have a fun and safe experience.

When: Saturday 10 April 2010, 8:30am - 11:00am

meet at Henry Park (9:00am), 2120 Skyway, east driveway.
